Firefly teams up with banks

PETALING JAYA: Firefly has introduced direct debit with Maybank2u.com and CIMB Clicks on its website to make it easier for customers to make payments. “This payment facility will be especially beneficial to youths and young working adults who now have convenient, easy access to our special promotional deals, available only through online purchases.

“We're currently getting an average of 300 direct debit users since both direct debit facilities went live last month,” said Firefly's marketing and communications chief Angelina Corrina Fernandez. She said the airline would be working with more banks to introduce more direct debit payment options.

Firefly operates a fleet of 10 ATR 72-500 turboprop, six B737-800s and two B737-400s. The ATR 72-500s operate out of Penang and Subang. The B737-800s operate out of Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu while the two B737-400s operate out of Johor Baru.
