AirAsia offers low fares to some Asean destinations

PETALING JAYA: Low-cost airline AirAsia will be offering discounted fares for its selected Asean routes for bookings made in the next two weeks. Booking period for this promotion is from Aug 8 to 14, 2011, with the travel period from Jan 3-Feb 28, 2012.

Its all-inclusive fares will begin from RM89 to destinations including Hanoi (Vietnam), Clark (Philippines), Vientiane (Laos), Hat Yai (Thailand), Yangon (Myanmar), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Bandar Sri Begawan (Brunei), and Bandung (Indonesia). Flights to Siem Reap (Cambodia) start from RM129 and Bali (Indonesia) from RM149.

Prices for domestic destinations begin at RM29, including Johor Baru to Penang, while Kota Kinabalu, Kuching and Miri destinations start at RM49. “Since the traveling period is until Feb 28, 2012, guests can also take this opportunity to make their Valentine's Day celebration next year even more special by taking their loved ones on a romantic getaway to the destinations that we have on offer,” AirAsia regional head of commercial Kathleen Tan said in a statement Saturday.
