PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has launched its latest campaign to encourage travellers to book their flight tickets early and enjoy discounted rates with a longer travel period of up to a year. Sales and marketing executive vice-president Datuk Bernard Francis said MAS was offering competitive rates.
He said the airline's “Global Deals, Dream Getaway” campaign offers discounts of up to 75% all-inclusive one-way fares for business class and 95% for economy class starting tomorrow to May 18. “We want to promote Malaysia to the world. We are working together with Tourism Malaysia to attract more visitors to the country and to encourage Malaysians to travel locally, too,” Francis said. The travel period will start from May 10 until March 31 next year. It will include countries within Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East.
Travel period within Australasia starts from May 3 and Europe from July 2, while the travel period within Malaysia starts from June 2. The discounts will be also applicable with travel packages made through the MASHolidays “Free and Easy” programme.
