Shangri-La KL named the best in Luxury Business category

Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur has been named the 2010 World Luxury Hotel Award’s global winner in the “Luxury Business Hotel” category at the World Luxury Hotel Awards 2010 gala ceremony held in Thailand recently. The award was in recognition of its world-class facilities and service excellence that are specially tailored to meet the needs of senior executives and discerning business travellers from around the world. Regarded as the pinnacle of achievement for luxury hotels worldwide, the prestigious World Luxury Hotel Awards are conferred on a selection of the finest hotels around the world as a celebration of ultimate achievement in the hospitality industry.

The criteria to be successfully nominated and included in the official World Luxury Hotel Awards voting process is overall service excellence.
